I was commissioned by the 1st Battalion of the Royal Welsh to create a Mess Caricature. I opted to do this as a digital drawing, because this meant that the work could be edited as it progressed, and also that it could be proofread. Each person was drawn individually on my tablet, and they were then placed onto a composite work. Every person was characterised by an anecdote. The drawing was sent to the client as both a digital file and a high quality giclee print.
